Tolhuin hosts provincial badminton finals for Juegos Fueguinos

The provincial badminton finals of the ‘Juegos Fueguinos’ were held at the Casa del Deporte in Tolhuin. The event included a doubles tournament to determine which athletes will advance to the Regional Tournament in Caleta Olivia, Santa Cruz.

In the men's singles category, Dylan Lencina took first place, followed by Lázaro Bustos and Luciano López. In the women's singles, Priscila Garay secured first place, with Kiara Sandoval and Xiomara Barconte finishing second and third, respectively.

Doubles competitions saw Priscila Franco and Agustín Loose win the Dobles A category, while Benjamín Cuello and Guadalupe Morales took first place in Dobles B. An 11-member delegation of athletes and two coaches will travel to Caleta Olivia from September 10 to 14 to compete in the regional qualifying stage for the National Tournament.
