Tolhuin Motor Race Draws Crowd as TC Driver Lambiris Condemns Peer Hypocrisy

The Master Pilotos competition took place on the frozen Laguna Cami in Tolhuin, Argentina, organized by the APKU 2000 and the municipal government. Mayor Daniel Harrington praised the strong turnout and family atmosphere, saying the event was a “wonderful day.” Winners in the Titulares category were Martín Ortega (first), Leonardo González (second) and Emiliano Fernández (third), while Franco Prokopiw led the Invitados class.

Ahead of the upcoming Turismo Carretera "Desafío de las Estrellas" at the San Juan‑Villicum circuit, Uruguayan driver Mauricio Lambiris criticised what he described as hypocrisy among some TC pilots regarding the new technical regulations. Lambiris vowed to fight for fairness, emphasizing that “fighting for what’s right is not crying” and urged rivals to respect the rule changes.
