Tolhuin Winter Sports Colonies Attract Nearly 300 Participants

The municipal sports department in Tolhuin organized winter colonies that drew almost 300 children and adolescents, including groups for people with disabilities and seniors. Director of Sports Marcelo Maslov highlighted the collaboration between the sports, culture and youth areas, noting activities such as games, recreational sports, cinema sessions, and meals. Participants enjoyed the snow, used the Polideportivo facilities, and when conditions allowed, held events at Laguna CAMI and a mini‑pool for the youngest children.

The program also coincided with local competitions: the Club Veteranos hosted a Friendship Tournament on Saturday, and finals involving teams from Tolhuin and Río Grande were scheduled for Sunday at the Polideportivo.
