Tolima Governor Adriana Matiz delivers 34 homes and unveils major projects in San Luis

Governor of Tolima, Adriana Magali Matiz, visited the municipality of San Luis to hand over 34 newly built houses to families. During the ceremony she announced a series of large‑scale investments, including a megaschool with a budget exceeding 14 billion Colombian pesos, a water‑treatment plant in Payandé costing over 9 billion pesos, and additional support for agro‑productive families affected by the El Niño phenomenon. Matiz also pledged to provide construction materials so the new homeowners can build access roads to their neighbourhoods, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to improving housing, education, water supply and rural livelihoods.

The projects are part of the departmental government's broader effort to boost infrastructure and quality of life across Tolima, targeting hundreds of families in the region.
