Tolima Governor reports theft of 41 gas cylinders by FARC dissidents

The Governor of Tolima, Adriana Magali Matiz, reported the theft of 41 gas cylinders in the El Darién district, located within the La Lindosa nucleus of the Rioblanco municipality.

The theft was attributed to the Gerónimo Galeano structure of the FARC dissidents. Governor Matiz stated that the criminals are targeting both local communities and the companies serving them. While the intended use of the stolen cylinders remains unknown, authorities have been urged to act immediately to prevent potential threats.

In response to the incident, the Governor has called upon the Public Force to increase security efforts in Rioblanco and throughout the southern region of the department. Residents have also been advised to remain alert and report any suspicious movements or intimidation attempts.
