Tollo selected to host viticultural landscape events
The municipality of Tollo has been selected by the international association Iter Vitis to host a three-day event from September 18 to 20. This event serves as a preparatory milestone for the National Viticultural Landscape Day, which is set to be officially celebrated every October 20 starting in 2026.
During the festivities, Tollo will sign a pact of friendship with the municipality of Barolo on September 19. This agreement aims to foster collaboration in promoting viticultural territories, local products, and citizen well-being. The program includes a public meeting at the EnoMuseo Tollo regarding viticultural landscapes and tourism development, as well as a walk along the “Via dei Mulini” pedestrian path.
Tollo’s selection follows a previous event in Pantelleria and precedes a scheduled stop in Barolo on October 17. Mayor Angelo Radica, who also serves as president of the National Association of Wine Cities, noted the significance of the recognition for the region's territory.
