In Tolna County, approximately 300 participants gathered in Tengelic for the Tolna County Firefighter Competition. Organized by the Tolna County Directorate for Disaster Management and the Tolna County Firefighter Association, the event focused on community building and preserving firefighting traditions. The competition featured various age groups and disciplines, including hose assembly, underground and above-ground fire hydrant setup, and a strength competition for firefighters.

Winners included teams from Dunaszentgyörgy, Bátaszék, Gelence, Cikádor, Bonyhád, Fadd, Gyönk, and Kurd. The event highlighted the multi-generational nature of the volunteer movement, with competitors ranging from a child born in 2019 to a veteran born in 1959. The program also included a memorial for retired Lieutenant Colonel Imre Árvai, who served the county for over three decades.
