Tolu Arokodare praised by Huntelaar following strong Ajax start

Former Ajax and Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has praised Tolu Arokodare’s impact during his season-long loan at Ajax. Arokodare, who joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers, has recorded six goals and two assists in nine appearances across all competitions.

Huntelaar noted that Arokodare is a dangerous focal point for the attack due to his physical strength and scoring ability. This performance follows a difficult period for the Nigerian international in the Premier League, where he scored only three goals in 38 appearances for Wolves.

In addition to discussing Arokodare, Huntelaar commented on Ajax’s defensive consistency and the development of other forwards. He expressed pride in Brian Brobbey, whom he helped bring back to the club, noting that while Brobbey has shown progress, he still needs to take the final step in his career development.
