Toluca honors jurist Máximo Carvajal Contreras

The Toluca City Council has honored jurist Máximo Carvajal Contreras for his five decades of contribution to legal education, research, and the strengthening of legal culture in Mexico. Carvajal Contreras serves as the president of the Association of Faculties, Schools, and Institutes of Law of Latin America (AFEIDAL).

During a solemn session, the municipal government also declared the participants of the XXV Latin American AFEIDAL Congress as ‘Distinguished Visitors’. The congress, hosted by the Universidad de Ixtlahuaca CUI, brings together representatives from higher education institutions across Mexico and various Latin American nations to foster academic exchange and collaboration in the field of law.
