Toluca hosts Festival Abarrotero to support small merchants

The ninth edition of the Festival Abarrotero was held in Toluca to strengthen small merchants by connecting them with suppliers and large companies. Organized by the Secretariat of Economic Development, the event aimed to provide training, financing, and improved purchasing conditions for local businesses.

Laura González Hernández, Secretary of Economic Development, announced that new support programs involving financing and commercial linking will be introduced before the end of the year. These initiatives will initially launch in the Toluca Valley before expanding to other regions of the state to support the growth and permanence of small establishments.
