Toluca hosts tenth Préndete athletic race to support firefighters

The tenth edition of the Préndete Athletic Race took place in Toluca, featuring 5 and 10 kilometer distances along with children's competitions. The event was organized to support the Heroico Cuerpo de Bomberos de Toluca and recognize the daily work of its members.

Participants included more than 40 firefighters from various municipalities, some of whom completed the 10-kilometer course while wearing full protective gear weighing over 20 kilograms to demonstrate the physical demands of emergency response. The event also featured races for children aged 6 to 14, covering distances between 200 and 800 meters.
