Toluca police recover three stolen vehicles and arrest four suspects
Authorities in Toluca, Mexico, recovered three stolen vehicles and arrested four individuals during recent security operations. The interventions were part of a municipal strategy led by Mayor Ricardo Moreno Bastida to combat vehicle theft.
In the Los Sauces III area, municipal surveillance cameras identified a stolen Chevrolet Captiva. Police intercepted the vehicle and detained two 23-year-old occupants, identified as Ricardo Adolfo “N” and Estefanía “N”.
In Ampliación Lázaro Cárdenas, the Centinelas surveillance system triggered an alert for a stolen Volkswagen Pointer. Officers intercepted the vehicle and detained the driver, 24-year-old Maytrella Ester “N”.
Additionally, a citizen report in the La Unión district led to the recovery of a stolen motorcycle. A 22-year-old man, Jonathan “N”, was detained after failing to prove ownership of the unit. All four suspects and the recovered vehicles have been placed at the disposal of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Vehicle Theft (OCRA).
