On December 9, Toluca will face the winner of the Copa Libertadores final between Palmeiras and Estudiantes in a match referred to as the ‘Derbi de las Américas’. If successful, the Mexican side will advance to the Copa Challenger on December 12 against Mamelodi Sundowns, the champions of the FIFA Africa-Asia-Pacific Cup.

The tournament concludes on December 16, where the winner will face Paris Saint-Germain, who awaits in the final as the Champions League winners.
