Toluwanisings: Gospel singer Olayemi Bolaji passes away

Gospel singer Olayemi Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has passed away after reportedly slumping at his residence. His death was announced by his family on Wednesday, October 14, amid reports that several hospitals had allegedly rejected him.

Colleagues have expressed profound grief over the loss. Bidemi Olaoba recalled that Toluwanisings’ final stage appearance was at the ‘In His Presence’ worship service in Ibadan, organized by Olaoba, just one day before his death. Olaoba noted that the singer’s departure leaves a significant void in the gospel music community.

Kehinde Adegbodu also paid tribute to the late singer, sharing a video of Toluwanisings visiting him to offer condolences following the death of Adegbodu’s twin brother, Taiwo, earlier this year. Adegbodu described the loss as “sad, painful and frustrating,” noting the suddenness of the passing.
