Tom Aspinall remains under UFC contract amid exit rumors

Tom Aspinall remains under contract with the UFC despite recent rumors suggesting he might leave the promotion. His manager, Eddie Hearn, clarified that the rumors were sparked by comments from Aspinall’s striking coach, Stipe Drvis, rather than any intention to exit the organization. UFC President Dana White also confirmed that Aspinall is not leaving.

While Aspinall is mentally prepared and motivated to return to competition, his return is currently delayed by medical requirements. He requires additional testing and clearance from the commission regarding an eye injury sustained during his fight against Ciryl Gane. Hearn noted that while Aspinall wants to fight as soon as possible, his return depends entirely on being medically cleared to ensure his safety.
