Tomáš Baťa featured in new Dramox theater production

The Dramox theater company has released a new production centered on the life of Tomáš Baťa, the famous entrepreneur from Zlín. Rather than a traditional chronological biography, the production by director Dod Gombár explores the internal struggles, ambitions, and personal dilemmas of the man behind the industrial empire.

The play features Baťa interacting with key figures from his life, including Jan Antonín Baťa, his wife Marie, and architect František Lydie Gahura. The performance aims to portray Baťa not just as an untouchable industrial icon, but as a complex leader known for his rigorous management methods and visionary approach to employee motivation and social systems in Zlín.
