Tomáš Bobček transfers to Frosinone Calcio in record deal

Slovak striker Tomáš Bobček has completed a record-breaking transfer from the Polish club Lechia Gdańsk to the Italian Serie A side Frosinone Calcio. The deal is valued at up to 13 million euros, consisting of a 10.8 million euro base fee and 2.2 million euros in potential bonuses.

Lechia Gdańsk secured additional financial benefits through the agreement, including an 8 percent sell-on clause for any future transfer. This transaction has the potential to become one of the most expensive departures from the Polish Ekstraklasa. Bobček, who was the top scorer in the Ekstraklasa last season, has signed a contract with Frosinone that runs until 2031.

His former Slovak club, MFK Ružomberok, is also set to benefit from the move, as they hold a 25 percent stake in his subsequent transfers.
