Tom Brady acquires rare one-of-one Fernando Mendoza rookie card

Las Vegas Raiders part-owner Tom Brady has acquired a unique, one-of-one Fernando Mendoza rookie card. The collectible features Mendoza’s first NFL autograph from a Topps series, signed “My 1st NFL Auto”.

Negotiations for the card lasted nearly a month. To finalize the deal, Brady provided a significant cash payment along with an autographed jersey. The transaction also includes a future meeting at a CardVault By Tom Brady location.

Mendoza, who was selected first overall by Las Vegas in the 2026 NFL Draft, previously led the Indiana Hoosiers to a national title. Brady expressed confidence in the young quarterback’s potential and noted the purchase as an investment in the player’s future success with the Raiders.
