Tom Cruise and Taylor Swift were observed conversing in a suite during the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14. The interaction occurred while Swift was supporting her husband, Travis Kelce, during the game against the Denver Broncos.

A lip-reading expert, Nicola Hickling, analyzed footage of the exchange and suggested the conversation involved Swift expressing her appreciation for the audience's infrastructure and positivity. Hickling interpreted Cruise's remarks as potentially mentioning a job opportunity, allegedly stating, “You may not know it, but you do have a job.”

Swift was joined in the press box by her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce. The game concluded with a 31-10 victory for the Chiefs.
