Actor Tom Cruise has clarified his stance on streaming services, stating he has nothing against platforms like Netflix or cable television. In a recent interview with GQ, Cruise noted that these services are beneficial because they create jobs and allow audiences to discover a wide variety of films.

Despite his support for streaming, Cruise remains a staunch advocate for the traditional cinema experience. He emphasized that the primary value of movie theaters is the ability for audiences to gather in a single room to share a collective experience. He suggested that while streaming offers variety, the communal aspect of watching a film in a theater remains unique.

Cruise also touched upon his professional reputation, noting that he is upfront with his cast and crew regarding his high expectations and intense work ethic. His upcoming projects include the dark comedy ‘Digger’, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, which is scheduled for a theatrical release in October 2026.
