Tom Cruise film ‘Digger’ confirmed with 128-minute runtime

The upcoming film ‘Digger’, starring Tom Cruise and directed by Oscar winner Alejandro González Iñárritu, will have a runtime of 128 minutes. While initial reports suggested a length of approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, Warner Bros. has confirmed the final duration is 2 hours and 8 minutes.

In this black comedy, which marks the 50th film of Cruise’s career, he portrays Digger Rockwell, a powerful man attempting to save humanity from environmental catastrophe. Cruise also serves as a producer for the project.

The ensemble cast includes John Goodman, Riz Ahmed, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Sophie Wilde, and Emma D’Arcy. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2.
