Tom Felton critiques Draco Malfoy's aged-up film appearance
Actor Tom Felton has playfully criticized the filmmakers of the Harry Potter film series regarding the aged-up appearance of his character, Draco Malfoy, in the epilogue of The Deathly Hallows - Part 2.
Felton noted that while the 19-year time jump required significant research into family hairlines and complexions to determine the character's future look, he felt his appearance in the 2011 film was “rather unfair” compared to the older versions of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
Felton is currently performing in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at New York City's Lyric Theatre. He remarked that his look in the stage production is “somewhat more flattering than what they did in the films.” His run in the show is scheduled to continue until January 3, 2027.
