Tom Felton extends Broadway run in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Producers of the Broadway production ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ have announced that Tom Felton will extend his run as Draco Malfoy through January 3, 2027. Felton, who portrayed the character in the original film franchise, joined the stage production in November 2025, marking the first time a cast member from the films has reprised a role in this play.

The extension follows strong demand and high box office performance since Felton’s debut at the Lyric Theatre. The play is set 19 years after the original series, featuring an older Draco Malfoy navigating parenthood.

Felton is scheduled to be absent from performances during the following periods: August 17–23, September 14–20, October 12–18, and November 2.
