Tom Hardy releases debut rap album as Frankie Pulitzer

Actor Tom Hardy has released his debut rap album, ‘Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer’, performing under the musical moniker Frankie Pulitzer. The 15-track project is a collaboration with the hip-hop collective Czarface, which includes Inspectah Deck of Wu-Tang Clan and the duo 7L & Esoteric.

The album features guest appearances from prominent hip-hop artists including Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and EL-P. Hardy’s lyrics frequently reference his cinematic career, including his role as Bane in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, where he utilizes the character’s distinctive voice to recite a Shakespearean monologue from ‘Richard III’ on the track ‘Grim-Visaged War’.

Other lyrical themes include references to Marvel characters like Green Goblin and Doctor Doom, as well as works by Stephen King and directors such as Martin Scorsese. While the release has surprised many fans, Hardy has a history with music, having recorded a mixtape under the name Tommy No. 1 in the late 1990s.
