Tom Hart to replace Gianpiero Lambiase as Max Verstappen's race engineer

Tom Hart will serve as Max Verstappen's race engineer for three of the final six races of the Formula 1 season, specifically during the United States, São Paulo, and Las Vegas Grands Prix.

He replaces Gianpiero Lambiase, who is transitioning to a role as chief racing officer for McLaren. While Lambiase will step back from direct pit wall communication during the three specified races, he will remain present with Red Bull for the rounds in Mexico City, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi to manage broader racing operations.

Hart is a long-term Red Bull employee who joined the Milton Keynes-based team as an intern in 2012. Since 2020, he has worked as a performance engineer for Verstappen and was recently promoted to senior performance engineer for both Red Bull cars. Although a potential move to Williams to work with Alex Albon was considered, Hart remains with Red Bull.
