Tom Hiddleston discusses Loki's role in Avengers: Doomsday

Actor Tom Hiddleston has discussed the upcoming role of Loki in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ suggesting the character’s return will serve as a “new starting point.”

Following the conclusion of the second season of the ‘Loki’ series, where the character became the ‘God of Stories’ tasked with maintaining the timelines, his reintegration into a major crossover film presents a narrative shift. Hiddleston noted that he approached his work on the new film carrying the experience and redemption achieved at the end of his solo series.

The actor indicated that the character’s long journey—from his origins in Asgard to his current cosmic responsibilities—has reached a point of catharsis, which will influence how the character functions within the context of the new Avengers installment.
