Tom Holland describes awe-inspiring set of Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' in Morocco

Actor Tom Holland recounted his first visit to the massive production of Christopher Nolan’s film *The Odyssey* on location in Morocco. Although he was not scheduled to shoot that day, he walked over a sand dune and was confronted a sprawling set with thousands of costumed extras, hundreds of boats, and horses glistening in the sand. Holland said the sight felt “like going back in time” and left him “speechless.”

He later met director Nolan and co‑star Matt Damon at the centre of the spectacle and noted that the scale of the production is unlike anything done before. The film, starring Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope and Holland as their son Telemachus, is slated for release on July 17.
