Tom Hooper's shoulder injury threatens Wallabies November tour
Australian rugby player Tom Hooper has re-injured his right shoulder while playing for Exeter in the English Premiership. The injury occurred during a match against Bristol, where Hooper sustained a “bang” to the same shoulder that previously suffered a hairline scapula fracture during a Test match against Ireland in July.
Wallabies coach Les Kiss is awaiting scan results to determine if Hooper will be available for the upcoming four-Test spring tour, which begins against England at Twickenham on November 9. If a new fracture is identified, Hooper is expected to be ruled out of the tour. The coaching staff has already begun formulating contingency plans to address his potential absence.
