Tom Jenkins to face former club Newcastle Knights

Penrith winger Tom Jenkins is set to face his former club, the Newcastle Knights, at Accor Stadium. After being identified by the Knights in 2023 as a potential long-term NRL player, Jenkins has established himself as a standout performer for Penrith, scoring 30 tries this season.

Jenkins, who played only five games for Newcastle, noted that he and the club were not the right fit for one another. He credited veteran centre Dane Gagai for providing guidance during his tenure in the Hunter region. Jenkins is currently positioned to potentially secure his first premiership ring.
