Tomáš Maceček wins Beskydská sedmička mountain race

Tomáš Maceček won the Beskydská sedmička, an extreme 101-kilometer mountain race through the Beskydy Mountains, despite facing severe thunderstorms and high temperatures during the event.

Maceček navigated difficult conditions, including heavy rain and low visibility on Smrk, to secure first place. Richard Tabach finished in second place with a time of 11:01:27, followed by Tomáš Štverák in third at 11:07:19.

In the women's category, Petra Ševčíková set a new record with a time of 12 hours and 29 minutes. The race began at night in Třinec and concluded in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, covering nine mountain peaks.
