DC Studios reveals final trailer for horror film Clayface
DC Studios has released the final trailer and new promotional material for ‘Clayface’, its first R-rated film within the new DC Universe. Directed by James Watkins and written by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, the film is a body-horror thriller starring Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen.
The plot follows Hagen, a rising Hollywood actor whose life is derailed by a violent crime that leaves him disfigured. Seeking an experimental treatment to restore his appearance, he instead gains the ability to reshape his body, leading to a descent into madness and revenge.
Lead actor Tom Rhys Harries has teased that the character’s final monstrous form will be withheld from all marketing to preserve the mystery, describing the transformation as “f—ing sick.” The film is scheduled for an international release starting October 21, 2026, followed by a North American theatrical debut on October 23, 2026.
