Tomáš Satoranský expected to play in national team farewell match

Czech basketball player Tomáš Satoranský is expected to participate in his national team farewell match against Belgium on November 29. This follows a recent incident where the 35-year-old player suffered a fall during a EuroLeague game with Hapoel Tel Aviv in Dubai, resulting in a temporary loss of consciousness and a period of hospital observation.

National team general manager Jiří Welsch confirmed that Satoranský is currently undergoing a controlled return-to-play protocol. Preliminary tests are expected to be negative, and both Welsch and coach Bartoň are planning for his inclusion in the upcoming Eurobasket pre-qualification match in Prague.

The Czech team is looking to avenge a previous loss to Belgium and improve their point differential to secure a better position in their group. Satoranský has already rejoined his club, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and aims to participate in their upcoming EuroLeague fixture.
