Tomáš Suslov potentially leaving Hellas Verona

Slovak midfielder Tomáš Suslov is reportedly nearing a departure from the Italian club Hellas Verona. The 24-year-old, who joined the team in the summer of 2024, was notably absent from the 26-man squad selected for the upcoming cup match against Virtus Entella.

Verona coach Marco Baroni confirmed the exclusion during a pre-match press conference, stating that the decision was made to allow Suslov to evaluate his current situation with a clear mind. Baroni emphasized his respect for the player but noted the importance of having a squad fully concentrated on the season ahead during the transfer window.

Suslov, whose market value is estimated at approximately 4 million euros, has struggled with injuries, appearing in only 11 competitive matches during the previous season. His potential exit comes as Hellas Verona faces a transition following their failure to maintain Serie A status for the 2026/2027 season. Suslov remains under contract with the club until June 2027.
