Tom Tiffany wins Republican nomination for Wisconsin governor
Republican Congressman Tom Tiffany has secured the Republican nomination for Governor of Wisconsin. A three-term representative of the 7th congressional district, Tiffany has been active in Wisconsin politics since 2009 and has received endorsements from Donald Trump and JD Vance.
During his campaign, Tiffany has focused on issues such as lowering property taxes, controlling utility costs, and improving housing affordability. He is scheduled to conduct a “Common-Sense Leadership Tour” to engage with voters.
Former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin joined Tiffany to endorse his candidacy, characterizing the election as a choice between “common sense leadership” and the platform of Democratic candidate Francesca Hong. Youngkin criticized Hong’s affiliations and policy proposals, while Tiffany expressed his intent to protect the state and return surpluses to taxpayers.
