Tomasz Hajto criticizes Jakub Kiwior and praises Kacper Potulski

Former Polish international and pundit Tomasz Hajto has criticized the defensive performance of the Poland national football team following a disappointing Nations League campaign. Hajto specifically targeted Jakub Kiwior, stating the defender has failed to develop over the past year and lacks the necessary positioning and anticipation. He described Kiwior as being unable to help the team, noting that he often remains stationary during set pieces.

In contrast to his criticism of the established defenders, Hajto praised 18-year-old Kacper Potulski. Despite receiving limited playing time, the FSV Mainz player impressed during a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hajto suggested that head coach Jan Urban should utilize Potulski to create competition for the starting positions held by Kiwior and Jan Bednarek to improve the team's defensive stability.
