Tomasz Rzymkowski joins Konfederacja parliamentary club

Tomasz Rzymkowski, a member of the Sejm from the Łódź Voivodeship, has officially joined the Konfederacja parliamentary club. Rzymkowski, a lawyer and former Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education and Science, leaves the Demokracja Bezpośrednia circle to become the 17th member of the Konfederacja group.

Rzymkowski stated that his move to Nowa Nadzieja, a group within Konfederacja led by Sławomir Mentzen, is a natural consequence of his ongoing collaboration with Mentzen on judicial reform programs. He described himself as a proponent of economic and personal freedoms and expressed his intention to help establish Konfederacja as the leading force of the Polish right.

His political background includes serving in the Kukiz’15 movement and Law and Justice (PiS). He noted that his transition would strengthen the party's representation in his home region.
