Tomasz Wróblewski warns of US political instability and risks to NATO

Tomasz Wróblewski, founder of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute, has warned that the increasing radicalization of both the American right and left could lead to internal conflict within the United States. He noted that such domestic instability poses a significant risk to America's ability to maintain international order.

Wróblewski emphasized that Poland cannot view American political shifts as mere curiosity, as the nation's security has relied on the US-led NATO alliance for three decades. He suggested that if isolationism grows in Washington, NATO will require greater independent strength, industrial capacity, and security planning.

Regarding the political landscape surrounding Donald Trump, Wróblewski criticized figures such as J.D. Vance for a perceived lack of understanding of Europe and a reluctance to accept responsibility for the continent. He also characterized Marco Rubio as a MAGA-aligned politician who may appear more diplomatic but lacks a readiness for significant US engagement in Europe.
