Tomatin and Bunnahabhain announce new Pedro Ximénez sherry cask whisky releases

Highland distiller Tomatin has announced the release of its 2011 single cask single malt, matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. The 15-year-old expression, drawn from Cask No. 37316, is intended exclusively for specialist whisky retailers in the UK and is scheduled to become available to consumers starting 29 September 2026.

In a separate release, spirits importer SPRITHÖKER is launching its first Bunnahabhain Special Release. This 22-year-old Bunnahabhain Mòine features a finish in first-fill Pedro Ximénez casks. Distilled in 2004 and slated for bottling in 2026, the limited edition is restricted to 624 bottles worldwide. The whisky is bottled at 53.6% ABV without chill filtration or added coloring and will be available in selected specialist retailers from 10 October 2026.
