Tomb Raider franchise sets 2027 Legacy of Atlantis game release and new TV series

Amazon is promoting a live‑action Tomb Ranger TV series starring Sophie Turner while simultaneously announcing two new games in the franchise. The remake Tomb Ranger: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for release in February 2027, followed later that year by a second title, Catalyst, set in northern India after a mythic cataclysm.

Alix Wilton Regan will provide Lara Croft’s voice and performance capture for both games. In a Variety interview Regan said she and Turner, who plays Lara in the series, have already met in London and talked about their respective portrayals. The projects also involve writer Phoebe Waller‑Bridge, underscoring a coordinated effort to refresh the Lara Croft canon across games and television.
