Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis delayed to February 2027

Crystal Dynamics announced that the remake of the original Tomb Raider game, titled Legacy of Atlantis, will not launch in 2024 as previously planned. The release has been pushed to February 12, 2027, with a two‑day early‑access window for purchasers of the special edition.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The company said the postponement is needed to deliver the graphical, gameplay and narrative improvements expected by fans and to set the stage for the upcoming Tomb Raiser Catalyst title and the Amazon Prime Video series starring Sophie Turner.

The delay marks the start of a new development cycle for the Lara Croft franchise, aiming to revitalize the series with next‑generation technology and exclusive content for special‑edition buyers.
