Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis developers spotlight villain Natla

Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have released the seventh episode of a mini-documentary series detailing the development of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. This installment focuses on the reimagining of the game's primary antagonist, Jacqueline Natla, the immortal former ruler of Atlantis and CEO of Natla Technologies.

Actress Adriene Wilkinson, who provides the voice and performance capture for Natla, discusses the character's role as a ‘noble foe’ who motivates Lara Croft by raising the stakes. Developers noted that the new version of Natla aims to provide more depth to her relationship with Lara, portraying her as a brilliant, tactical, and authoritative figure who often underestimates the protagonist.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a single-player action-adventure title that reimagines the 1996 debut game. It is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
