Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Revealed in 30th‑Anniversary Demo

To mark the series' 30th anniversary, Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hog and Amazon Game Studios are reimagining the original 1996 Tomb Raeider title as *Legacy of Atlantis*. A hands‑on preview at Summer Game Fest showed updated movement that replaces the classic “tank controls” with smoother, more agile animation, and introduces a new wrist‑mounted grapple device for platforming. The demo highlighted classic puzzles—cog mechanisms and environmental challenges—enhanced by modern graphics that render the Peruvian jungle in vivid detail.
