Tomb Raider marks 30‑year anniversary with Legacy of Atlantis preview and Switch release

Crystal Dynamics' Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration, which bundles all DLC, was ported to the Nintendo Switch by Aspyr and released on 9 June. The game retails for €29.99 on the eShop, with a discount to €26.99 until 22 June. The Switch version brings the long‑awaited Tomb Raider experience to Nintendo hardware for the first time.

At Summer Game Fest, Crystal Dynamics showcased a demo of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a reimagining of the 1996 original slated for a 2027 launch. Developers Jeff Adams, Arek Tomaszewski and Raul Siquiera discussed the series' 30‑year legacy, the game's modernised graphics and gameplay, and how the new title aims to bridge the classic’s spirit with contemporary expectations.
