Tomelloso celebrates 20th edition of Traditional Market

The 20th edition of the Traditional Market in Tomelloso took place this Sunday in the Plaza de España as part of the city's Feria y Fiestas. This milestone edition set a record for participation, featuring 84 stalls that expanded the market's footprint within the city center.

The event showcased a wide variety of local heritage, including traditional food products such as pickles, sweets, cured meats, and breads, alongside artisanal goods like ceramics, esparto crafts, and handmade soaps. Local artists also exhibited paintings and prints. A notable attraction was a demonstration involving eight mules, highlighting the region's agricultural roots.

Mayor Javier Navarro praised the event's success and its ability to generate economic movement and attract visitors from other localities. Alejandro Serna of Tomillar Tradiciones noted the market's importance as a key meeting point for the community.
