Tomelloso honors Fausti Moreno and José Luis Bódalo

The municipality of Tomelloso held a ceremony at the López Torres Museum Auditorium to honor Fausti Moreno Peronay and José Luis Bódalo Rodríguez as ‘Tomelloseros Ausentes 2026’. This distinction recognizes individuals who have lived away from the town but have maintained deep, continuous ties to their roots and community.

The event, led by Culture Councilor Inés Losa and attended by Mayor Javier Navarro, featured musical performances by Marieli Blanco on piano and Natalia López on flute. The ceremony highlighted the diverse life paths of the honorees, specifically noting Fausti Moreno’s long-standing dedication to music, culture, and community service, often described as a pillar of support for local cultural activities.
