Tomelloso opens new interpretation center for traditional bombos

The Museo del Carro y Aperos de Labranza de Tomelloso has inaugurated a new Interpretation Center for 'bombos' (large traditional granaries). The project is part of a local tourism sustainability plan focused on digital transition.

The center utilizes videos, illustrations, and technological tools to explain the history, construction techniques, and heritage value of these structures. To provide a human dimension to the technical aspects, the project incorporates direct testimonies from farmers, builders, researchers, and technicians who have a personal connection to the bombos.
