Tomelloso to host 10K running race and powerlifting competition

Tomelloso is preparing for two significant sporting events in October. The 10K Ciudad de Tomelloso, scheduled for October 4, has secured Grupo ANRO and Hogar Hotels as main sponsors. Organizers aim to exceed 1,000 participants for the race, which is known for its flat and fast circuit in the Castilla-La Mancha region.

Additionally, the city will host the inaugural Tomelloso Power Cup on October 10 and 11 at the San Antonio Pavilion. Organized by Rocco Gym and WRPF Spain, the powerlifting competition includes various categories such as Powerlifting Raw and Classic. The event features a charitable component where proceeds from specific strength challenges will be donated to AFAS and Galgos de La Mancha to support social inclusion and animal welfare.
