Tomica Expo in Tokyo features 100 patrol cars and real‑car displays

The Tomica Expo, hosted by TV Tokyo, will run from 6 August to 16 August 2026 at Ariake GYM‑EX in Tokyo. The exhibition’s theme, “Patrol Cars Protect the City,” showcases over 100 Tomica patrol‑car models racing simultaneously on a massive slider, alongside full‑size Toyota GR‑86 and GR‑Supra patrol‑car prototypes. Visitors can explore a Patrol‑Car Museum with historic models, try driver‑seat simulations, and experience a giant Tomica diorama. Interactive zones include a Tomica assembly factory, a custom‑design workshop, and various games such as the Tomica Hunting and Tomica Slot. Special stages feature TV Tokyo personalities and guest appearances on selected dates. Admission costs range from ¥1,300 for adults (pre‑sale) to ¥1,400 on the day, with children’s tickets priced at ¥900–¥1,000. The event is co‑sponsored by Panasonic Energy and supported by Takara Tomy and related partners.
