Tomiño hosts cultural cycle to showcase local youth talent

The Auditorio de Goián in Tomiño will host ‘Xuventude Talentosa’ (or ‘Mocidade Talentosa’), a three-day cultural cycle running from September 25 to 27. The event is designed to showcase the creative work of local youth through music, theater, and audiovisual productions.

The program begins Friday, September 25, with a performance by Trío Zarzuela Viva, featuring a tenor, soprano, and piano. On Saturday, September 26, the theater piece ‘CA-CO-FLEX’ will use parody and humor to address the instability of the current housing crisis. The cycle concludes Sunday, September 27, with the film ‘A Memoria do Miño’, which explores the cultural history and identity of the Miño River.

Tomiño Mayor Sandra González stated that the local government has a responsibility to support young people and provide opportunities for them to share their work and grow within the municipality.
