Tomio Okamura proposes cutting social benefits for Ukrainians

During a pre-election event in Brno, SPD leader Tomio Okamura called for the cancellation of social benefits provided to Ukrainians. He stated that the annual cost for non-working Ukrainians amounts to 12 billion CZK and argued that such funds should not be taken from Czech citizens.

The event, held at Malinovského Square, served as a campaign launch for the upcoming municipal elections. Okamura focused his platform on controlling migration, supporting regional food production, and managing energy prices. He also addressed his political past in response to criticisms from ODS chairman Martin Kupka.
